Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed for dry weighing in industrial and commercial environments, featuring robust construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable long-term use. The kit includes a 7-segment LCD indicator with a multicolor backlight that changes color in check mode, supporting weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization functions. The scale operates with an internal power supply with a power cord (included), and can also use 6C (LR14) batteries or a rechargeable battery, both not included. Communication options include a standard RS232 port, with optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity available. The indicator is made from ABS plastic or 304 stainless steel, mounted on a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate with a black painted steel threaded platform. The system includes an IP65 rated stainless steel junction box with side access, alloy steel load cells, two carbon steel eye bolts, and an available painted steel ramp. Design features comprise four load cell mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup configuration, and painted and stainless steel floor stands are offered as accessories.
