Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed for dry weighing applications in industrial and commercial settings, featuring high-quality construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable performance. The kit includes an indicator with a 7-segment LCD multicolor backlight display that changes color in check mode and supports weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization modes. Operation is powered by an internal power supply with included power cord, 6C (LR14) batteries (not included), or rechargeable batteries (not included). Communication options include standard RS232, with optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity. The construction consists of an ABS plastic or 304 stainless steel indicator, a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate, black painted steel threaded platform, IP65 stainless steel junction box with side access, alloy steel load cells, two carbon steel eye bolts, and a painted steel ramp available. Design features include four load cell mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, with painted and stainless steel floor stands available as accessories.
