The Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed for washdown weighing applications in industrial and commercial settings, offering high-quality construction to minimize flexing under heavy loads for reliable long-term performance. The kit includes a 7-segment LCD indicator with a multicolor backlight that changes color in check mode, internal power supply with included power cord, and a rechargeable battery. It supports weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization modes. Communication options include a standard RS232 port with optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity. The platform features a 304-grade stainless steel IP66 indicator, a 5mm (0.196in) fixed stainless steel top plate, an IP68 stainless steel junction box with side access, and IP68 stainless steel load cells suitable for wet environments. Additional components include stainless steel ramps and mounting plates available as accessories. The design incorporates four load cell-mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup system and offers painted and stainless steel floor stands as optional accessories.
