The Defender™ 5000 Series floor scales are designed for advanced industrial and commercial weighing needs, featuring a high-quality construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable long-term performance. The kit includes a 304 stainless steel IP68 indicator with software supporting counting, checkweighing, accumulation, display hold, and other modes, along with an internal power supply with power cord; a rechargeable battery is available separately. The package features easy access communication ports including RS232 and a Micro SD slot, with options for a second RS232/RS485/USB device, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, discrete I/O, and analog output sold separately, and provides GLP/GMP data output with a real-time clock. The stainless steel base includes an IP68 stainless steel junction box with side access, IP68 load cells, and a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate. Design elements include four load cell-mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, with ramps and painted or stainless steel floor stands available as accessories. The backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) measures 256 x 80 pixels. Warranty terms are included with the product.
