The Defender™ 5000 series floor scales are designed for advanced industrial and commercial weighing needs, featuring high-quality construction to minimize flexing under heavy loads for long-term reliability. The kit includes a 304 stainless steel IP68 indicator with a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate and stainless steel platform, IP68 stainless steel junction box with side access, and IP68 load cells suitable for wet areas. The indicator supports multiple weighing operations including counting, checkweighing, percent weighing, dynamic weighing with display hold, accumulation, and filling. It has a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with 256 x 80 pixels and an internal power supply with a power cord; a rechargeable battery is available separately. Communication options include built-in RS232 and micro SD slot ports, with additional ports such as a second RS232/RS485/USB device, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, discrete I/O, and analog output available as accessories. The scale supports GLP/GMP data output with a real-time clock.
