The Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed for dry weighing applications in industrial and commercial settings, featuring high-quality construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable performance over time. The kit includes a 7-segment LCD indicator with a multicolor backlight that changes color in check mode, supporting weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization functions. The scale can be powered by an internal power supply with an included power cord, 6C (LR14) batteries or a rechargeable battery (both not included). Communication options include standard RS232 and optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity. The construction consists of an ABS plastic or 304 stainless steel indicator, a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate, a black painted steel threaded platform, an IP65 stainless steel junction box with side access, alloy steel load cells, two carbon steel eye bolts, and a painted steel ramp available. The design features four load-cell-mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, with painted and stainless steel floor stands offered as accessories.
