The Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed for washdown weighing applications in industrial and commercial environments, featuring high-quality construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable long-term performance. The kit includes a 7-segment LCD indicator with a multicolor backlight that changes color in check mode, and supports weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization functions. The platform has a 304-grade stainless steel IP66 indicator, a 5mm (0.196in) fixed top plate, stainless steel platform, an IP68 stainless steel junction box with side access, IP68 load cells suitable for wet areas, and stainless steel ramps available as options. It operates on an internal power supply with included power cord or rechargeable battery, and features standard RS232 communication with optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity. The floor platform design includes four load cell mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, with painted and stainless steel floor stands available as accessories.
