The Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed to meet dry weighing needs for industrial and commercial use, featuring high-quality construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable performance. The scale includes an indicator with a bright 7-segment LCD display with multicolor backlight that changes color in check mode and supports weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization modes. It operates with an internal power supply and power cord (included), or alternatively with 6C (LR14) batteries or a rechargeable battery (both not included). Communication options include standard RS232 with optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity. The construction consists of an ABS plastic or 304 stainless steel indicator, a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate, a black painted steel threaded platform, an IP65 stainless steel junction box with side access, alloy steel load cells, two carbon steel eye bolts, and an available painted steel ramp. The design incorporates four load cell mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, and painted and stainless steel floor stands are available as accessories.
