The Edwards 876 AC series includes low-current high decibel vibrating horns designed for heavy-duty use, featuring a convenient plug-in assembly and a corrosion-resistant finish. These horns are completely assembled and housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure, which is UL listed to meet NEMA 4X enclosure requirements. The product comes with a die-cast weatherproof box that has a durable corrosion-resistant electrostatic heat flowed powder epoxy gray finish, making it suitable for indoor applications. Installation options allow mounting on conduit or any flat surface, with a drilled and tapped hole on top for 3/4" (19mm)-14 NPT conduit. Knockouts are strategically located on the bottom and rear of the unit. The horns are ideal for outdoor or weatherproof applications where a distinctive urgent signal is required, such as timing, scheduling, paging, general alarms, personnel warnings, and emergency evacuations. Additionally, the 872-PO plastic projector AdaptaHorn accessory is designed to snap onto any AdaptaHorn and is available as a separate item.
