The Edwards 5530M Adaptatone Millennium is a heavy-duty industrial tone selectable signaling device designed to produce volume-controlled high-decibel tones, achieving 110 dB at 10 feet. It features PLC compatibility, which allows activation from field wired normally open contacts or from a 24 VDC external voltage source, eliminating the need for additional loading resistors or relays. This device offers 55 tone capability, utilizing a microprocessor circuit to generate 27 distinctive tones selected via a DIP switch. Constructed to meet NEMA type 3R standards, it carries UL, CUL, and CE approvals, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. The Adaptatone Millennium is ideal for applications such as emergency warning systems, plant evacuation, security intrusion alarms, process monitoring, shift start and dismissal horns, and paging signals. It supports 1/2" (13mm) conduit or surface mounting, providing versatility in installation.
