The Edwards 5530M Adaptatone Millennium is a heavy-duty industrial tone selectable signaling device capable of producing volume-controlled high decibel tones, reaching up to 110 dB at 10 feet. It is PLC compatible, ensuring no additional loading resistors or relays are required for setup, and features a 55 tone capability, allowing users to select from 27 distinctive tones via a DIP switch within the unit. Constructed to NEMA type 3R standards, the device is certified with UL, CUL, and CE approvals, making it suitable for various industrial applications requiring high decibel output and microprocessor reliability. Typical uses include emergency warning systems, plant evacuation, security intrusion alarms, process monitoring, shift start and dismissal horns, and paging signals.
