The Universal Adaptaplate is designed for versatile mounting, accommodating direct surface installation or fitting any single gang box measuring 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), or 4" (102mm) octagon box, as well as any plaster cover with mounting holes spaced on 2 3/4" (70mm) centers. This kit includes a 10" DC vibrating bell that produces a long, continuous ringing sound, with the striker capable of rapid-fire action while current is applied. Additionally, 6" and 10" bells can be mounted on 4" (102mm) square boxes. The DC vibrating bell is suitable for outdoor use when paired with the Cat. No. 449 weatherproof back box. The product is specifically designed for timing scheduling and general alarm applications.
