The Universal Adaptaplate is designed for mounting directly on surfaces or electrical boxes, fully assembled with all necessary hardware included. It accommodates gong sizes of 4", 6", 8", and 10". The DC vibrating bells provide a long, continuous ringing sound; the striker executes rapid-fire strikes on the gong for as long as current is applied. The Adaptaplate is compatible with any single gang box measuring 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), or 4" (102mm) in octagon shape, as well as any plaster cover featuring mounting holes on 2 3/4" (70mm) centers. Additionally, the 6" and 10" bells can be mounted on 4" (102mm) square boxes. For outdoor applications, the DC vibrating bell can be installed using Cat. No. 449 weatherproof back box. This product is specified for timing scheduling and general alarm applications.
