The Universal Adaptaplate is designed for direct mounting on surfaces or electrical boxes, offering versatility for various installations. It can be utilized outdoors when paired with a 449 weatherproof back box. This system features 6" gong sizes DC vibrating bells that generate a long continuous ringing sound, with the striker executing rapid-fire strikes on the gong as long as current is supplied. The Universal Adaptaplate is compatible with single gang boxes measuring 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), or 4" (102mm) octagon boxes, as well as any plaster cover with mounting holes spaced 2 3/4" (70mm) apart. Additionally, 6" and 10" bells can be mounted on 4" (102mm) square boxes. The DC vibrating bell is specifically suitable for timing scheduling and general alarm applications, ensuring reliable performance in various settings.
