Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics high-performance tanks are designed for general purpose applications, featuring exacting CAD-based designs made from the highest quality virgin resins and tough construction. The tanks are translucent and include molded-in graduations for easy measurement. Rated for use with 1.8 specific gravity media, these open-top tanks can accommodate a fiberglass casing that increases the rating to 2.2. The casings provide essential structural support and prevent bulging at the bottom of the tank, and they are required for media with a specific gravity greater than 1.8 or for prolonged use at elevated temperatures. Optional factory-installed casting is available for separate purchase and must be acquired with the tank.
