Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics high-performance tanks are designed with exacting CAD-based designs and constructed from the highest quality virgin resins, providing robust solutions for general purpose applications. These translucent open-top tanks feature molded-in graduations and are rated for use with media having a specific gravity of 1.8; when equipped with a fiberglass casing, this rating increases to 2.2. The casings offer essential structural support, preventing bulging at the bottom of the tank, and are necessary for media with a specific gravity greater than 1.8 or for applications involving prolonged elevated temperatures. Optional factory-installed casings are sold separately and must be purchased with the tank.
