The Saint Gobain HDPE 55-gallon conical-bottom tank with cover has a diameter of 22 inches and a height of 44 inches, featuring a 3/16-inch wall thickness and a white color. Designed by Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, these high-performance tanks are constructed with exacting CAD-based designs and the highest quality virgin resins to provide durable solutions for general purpose applications. The translucent tanks are equipped with molded-in graduations for easy measurement. The conical bottom has a 30-degree cone angle, allowing for complete drainage of solids and enhanced dispersal. Installation of welded or bulkhead fittings is straightforward, and the tank requires a metal stand with a clearance of 18 inches from the floor to the bottom (12 inches for the 10-gallon tank). It is suitable for use with media having a specific gravity greater than 1.8 or for applications involving prolonged elevated temperatures. An optional factory-installed casting is available for purchase separately and must be bought alongside the tank.
