The Saint Gobain PP 30-gallon conical-bottom tank with cover measures 18 inches in diameter and 35 inches in height, featuring a 3/16-inch wall thickness in an off-white color. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics delivers high-performance tanks designed with exacting CAD-based designs, utilizing the highest quality virgin resins for tough construction, making them ideal for general-purpose applications. The tanks are translucent and come with molded-in graduations for easy measurement. The conical-bottom design features a 30-degree cone angle, allowing for complete drainage of solids and improved dispersal of materials. Installation of welded or bulkhead fittings is straightforward, though a metal stand is required. The tank maintains an 18-inch clearance from the floor to the bottom, which is 12 inches for the 10-gallon version. It is essential for use with media that has a specific gravity greater than 1.8 or for prolonged use at elevated temperatures. An optional factory-installed casting is available for separate purchase and must be obtained alongside the tank.
