Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics high-performance tanks are designed for general-purpose applications with a robust construction and exacting CAD-based designs. The tanks are made from high-quality virgin resins and are translucent, featuring molded-in graduations for easy measurement. They are rated for use with media up to 1.8 specific gravity, and when a fiberglass casing is employed, the rating increases to 2.2 specific gravity. The casings provide essential structural support and prevent bulging at the bottom of the tank, and they are required for use with media having a specific gravity greater than 1.8 or for prolonged elevated temperature applications. Additionally, an optional factory-installed casing is available for separate purchase at the time of the tank order.
