The PROTO® 3/4" drive impact socket 9/16" is a 6-point, 1-7/8" long tool designed for use on stubborn or damaged fasteners, as well as fasteners made from soft materials. It features the TorquePlus™ design, a high-performance drive configuration that ensures quick and easy engagement with fastener flats rather than corners. This radius-corner design shifts contact area and stress away from fastener corners, distributing stress over a larger socket area to minimize slippage. The TorquePlus™ internal design reduces fastener rounding, helps extend fastener life, and facilitates turning of worn, rounded, or rusted fasteners. The socket includes a stamped size for easy reference and a side locking hole for secure attachment.
