The Proto® 1/2" drive deep impact socket is designed with a 33 mm size and features a 6-point configuration, measuring 3-1/2" in length. This socket is ideal for engaging stubborn or damaged fasteners, as well as those made from softer materials. Its TorquePlus™ design offers a high-performance drive configuration that ensures quick and easy engagement to the flat surfaces of fasteners, rather than the corners. The radius-corner design of TorquePlus™ shifts the contact area and stress away from the corners of the fastener, distributing contact stresses over a larger area of the socket to minimize slippage. The internal design of TorquePlus™ also reduces the risk of fastener rounding, extends the life of the fastener, and facilitates turning of worn, rounded, or rusted fasteners. Each socket features the size stamped on the tool for easy identification, as well as a side locking hole.
