The flange mount bearing kit is designed for applications requiring strong load support in limited mounting areas. It features a solid zinc die cast housing that is non-corrosive and lightweight, securely retaining the bearing by pressing the lip 360 degrees over the outer race. The kit includes two set screws and offers various options for housing units, including die-cast zinc, pressed steel, and pressed stainless steel. Die-cast zinc housings are paired with either bronze bearings or ball bearing inserts, while pressed steel housings come with a rust-proof finish and are also available with bronze or ball bearing inserts. The stainless steel housings are USDA/FDA approved and include UHMW-PE bearing inserts, making them ideal for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments. Additionally, the kit features solid UHMW-PE bearings that are completely composed of UHMW-PE, are USDA/FDA approved, and offer self-lubricating properties.
