The flange mount bearings are designed for applications requiring strong load support in limited mounting areas. The kit includes a solid zinc die cast housing that is non-corrosive and lightweight, securely retaining the bearing by pressing the lip 360 degrees over the outer race, along with 2 set screws. Available housing options include die-cast zinc, pressed steel, and pressed stainless steel. The die-cast zinc housings feature a choice between bronze bearing or ball bearing inserts, while the pressed steel housings come plated with a rust-proof finish and also offer bronze or ball bearing inserts. The stainless steel housings are USDA/FDA approved and designed with UHMW-PE bearing inserts, making them suitable for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments. Additionally, the solid UHMW-PE bearings, which are completely made from UHMW-PE, are USDA/FDA approved and self-lubricating.
