This kit is designed for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments where sanitary conditions are crucial, featuring USDA and FDA-approved components. It includes self-lubricating bearings that are resistant to corrosion, high impact, and abrasion. The two-piece stainless steel housing units operate effectively within a temperature range of -60° to 180° F. Flange mount bearings are offered with various housing options, including die-cast zinc, pressed steel, and pressed stainless steel. Die-cast zinc housings are lightweight, non-corrosive, and come with either bronze or ball bearing inserts. Pressed steel housings are plated with a rust-proof finish and also offer bronze or ball bearing inserts. The stainless steel housings are equipped with USDA/FDA-approved UHMW-PE bearing inserts, making them ideal for demanding environments. Additionally, solid UHMW-PE bearings, constructed entirely from UHMW-PE, are self-lubricating and meet USDA/FDA standards.
