This kit includes flange mount bearings designed for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments where sanitary conditions are a priority, complying with USDA and FDA approvals. It features self-lubricating bearings that resist corrosion, high impact, and abrasion, housed in two-piece stainless steel, die-cast zinc, or pressed steel units. The operational temperature range is -60° to 180° F. Die-cast zinc housings are lightweight and non-corrosive, equipped with either a bronze bearing or ball bearing insert. Pressed steel housings come with a rust-proof plated finish and are available with bronze or ball bearing inserts. The stainless steel housings, which also meet USDA/FDA standards, are equipped with UHMW-PE bearing inserts, making them particularly suitable for demanding wash-down applications. Solid UHMW-PE bearings, entirely constructed from UHMW-PE, are self-lubricating and USDA/FDA approved.
