Penco's heavy-duty pallet racks are expertly designed for efficient storage of palletized items, utilizing high-strength steel for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The system consists of upright frames and beams, each manufactured to precise tolerances, ensuring years of reliable service at their rated loads. The slotted design allows for easy installation and adjustment on 3" centers, complemented by a safety lock tab that prevents beam dislodgement. The beam ends, constructed from extra heavy gauge steel, feature a three-prong connection that guarantees positive beam-to-post alignment along an 8-1/2" length and uniform load distribution. Protective tabs extend along the beam's face for added protection during transit and installation. A unique recessed safety key made from heavy gauge steel engages with a slot in the post, effectively resisting an upward force of up to 1,000 pounds from material handling equipment. The step-down design of all beams accommodates accessories with two available step sizes: 7/8" and 1-5/8" high. The beam locking key enhances safety, engaging without tools and remaining clearly visible for safety checks. Heavy-duty beam end connectors further ensure system robustness and reliability.
