The kit includes upright frames and beams, each crafted to precise tolerances for durability under rated loads. The slotted design allows for easy installation and adjustment on 3" centers, while safety lock tabs prevent beams from dislodging. Standard beam ends are constructed from extra heavy gauge steel and feature a three-prong connection that ensures positive beam-to-post alignment and uniform load distribution. Each beam has protective tabs along its face to safeguard the prongs during transit and installation. The unique recessed safety key, made from heavy gauge steel, locks into a slot on the post, resisting upward forces from material handling equipment up to 1,000 pounds. Moreover, the step-down design of all beams accommodates accessories with two step sizes available: 7/8" and 1-5/8" high. The beam locking key enhances safety by engaging seamlessly without tools and being clearly visible for safety checks, complementing the heavy-duty beam end connector that provides robust structural integrity.
