Super Air Amplifiers pull in large volumes of surrounding air using a small amount of compressed air to produce high volume, high velocity outlet flows through a fixed air gap. Utilizing the Coanda Effect, a basic principle of fluidics, Air Amplifiers provide a simple, low cost method to circulate air, move smoke, fumes, and light materials. They are effective as blowers for cooling, cleaning, and drying parts or processes, as well as in workstation dust collection applications. These devices create output flows up to 25 times their compressed air consumption rate. Both the vacuum and discharge ends can be ducted for drawing fresh air from other locations or moving smoke and fumes away. They are rated for environments up to 700°F (374°C), compact, lightweight, portable, require no electricity, have no moving parts, and therefore require no maintenance. The ends are easily ducted, and they offer instant on/off capability, variable force and flow, and produce no RF interference. Compared to venturies and ejectors, they deliver more air with lower compressed air consumption, higher flow amplification, and have no internal obstructions. They meet OSHA pressure and noise requirements, and sound levels are measured at 3 feet away. The Air Amplifiers comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
