Exair's Super Air Knife™ provides an efficient solution for cleaning, drying, or cooling parts, webs, or conveyors, delivering a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with substantial force. It operates at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 bar) while maintaining a noise level of only 69 dBA for most applications. The amplification ratio of the knife is 40:1, which refers to the ratio of entrained air to compressed air. Available materials include aluminum, stainless steel, and PVDF. The Super Air Knife is suitable for various applications such as part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, component cooling, web drying, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening and filling operations, and scrap removal in converting processes. Key features include minimal air consumption, uniform airflow across its length, variable force and flow, and a maintenance-free design with no moving parts.
