Exair's Super Air Knife™ is designed to provide an efficient solution for cleaning, drying, or cooling parts, webs, or conveyors through a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length, delivering hard-hitting force even at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 BAR) while maintaining a quiet sound level of 69 dBA for most applications. It achieves an amplification ratio of 40:1 by entraining air with compressed air. The Super Air Knife is available in three materials: aluminum, stainless steel, and PVDF, and can be used for various applications such as part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, cooling components, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, and scrap removal during converting operations. Key features include minimal air consumption, uniform airflow, variable force and flow, a maintenance-free design with no moving parts, compliance with OSHA dead-ended pressure and noise requirements, and a compact, rugged structure that is easy to install.
