Exair's Super Air Knife™ kit provides an efficient solution for cleaning, drying, or cooling parts, webs, or conveyors, delivering a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with significant force. Operating at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 BAR), it maintains a surprisingly quiet sound level of 69 dBA for most applications, while achieving amplification ratios of 40:1 (entrained air to compressed air). The kit includes a Super Air Knife, a Super Air Knife shim set, an auto-drain filter separator, a pressure regulator, and a mounting/coupling kit for the regulator/separator. Applications for this kit include part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, cooling components, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening and filling operations, and scrap removal in converting operations.
