EXAIR's Super Air Knife is a highly efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length, offering hard-hitting force with the lowest operating cost. Constructed from Type 303 stainless steel, it withstands temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and is suited for mildly corrosive environments. The knife dramatically reduces compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a 40:1 ratio, producing noise levels as low as 69 dBA, and operates with minimal air consumption. It features variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, recessed hardware, and easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom. It is compact, rugged, and simple to install, making it ideal for applications such as part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
