EXAIR's® Super Air Knife is the most efficient compressed air knife on the market, delivering a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force and the lowest operating cost. It is engineered to dramatically reduce compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1, while reducing noise levels to approximately 69 dBA in most applications. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, improved strength properties, and resists pitting, making it ideal for manufacturers of food, pharmaceutical, and surgical products requiring minimized metal contamination. The knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). Typical applications include part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. Key features include minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom, compact and rugged construction, and recessed hardware.
