EXAIR's Super Air Knife is an efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force while maintaining the lowest operating cost. It reduces compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1 and produces significantly lower noise levels, measured at 69 dBA for most applications, compared to other blowoffs. Made from Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced strength properties, and resistance to pitting, making it suitable for manufacturers in food, pharmaceutical, and surgical industries requiring minimal metal contamination. The Super Air Knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and is designed with no moving parts for maintenance-free operation. It features compact, rugged construction with recessed hardware and easy mounting options with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom. The kit is ideal for applications including part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal in converting operations. EXAIR Super Air Knives comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet noise limitation standards of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound levels measured at 3 feet.
