EXAIR's® Super Air Knife is an efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force, operating at the lowest compressed air cost. It is engineered to reduce compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1 and offers significantly reduced noise levels of 69 dBA for most applications compared to other blowoffs. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance, higher strength, and resists pitting, making it ideal for industries such as food, pharmaceutical, and surgical product manufacturing where contamination control is critical. The Super Air Knife withstands temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and can be used for part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. It features minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts ensuring maintenance-free operation, recessed hardware, easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and bottom, and a compact, rugged design that is easy to install. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet distance.
