EXAIR's Super Air Knife is an efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force and the lowest operating cost, entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced strength, resistance to pitting, and suitability for food, pharmaceutical, and surgical manufacturing environments, it can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). The Super Air Knife is quiet, operating at 69 dBA for most applications, with minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, and easy mounting options with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom. It is compact, rugged, easy to install, and features recessed hardware. Typical applications include part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening and filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
