EXAIR's® Super Air Knife is a highly efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with a strong force and low operating cost, while reducing compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, superior strength, and pitting resistance, making it suitable for food, pharmaceutical, and surgical product manufacturers seeking to minimize metal contamination. It withstands temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and operates with noise levels as low as 69 dBA for most applications. The knife is compact, rugged, maintenance-free with no moving parts, features recessed hardware, and provides easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom. It is used for part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal during converting operations. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
