EXAIR's® Super Air Knife is an efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length, providing hard-hitting force with the lowest operating cost by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, greater strength, and resistance to pitting, making it suitable for food, pharmaceutical, and surgical product manufacturing. The knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and operates quietly at 69 dBA for most applications. It features minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, and easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and bottom. The design is compact, rugged, includes recessed hardware, and is used for applications including part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
