EXAIR's Super Air Knife is a highly efficient compressed air knife that delivers a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with substantial force and low operating cost. It is designed to significantly reduce compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1, while maintaining noise levels as low as 69 dBA for most applications. The knife is constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, superior strength properties, and resistance to pitting, which is critical for manufacturers in the food, pharmaceutical, and surgical industries to minimize contamination. It can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and is used for drying, cleaning, cooling parts, webs, or conveyors, acting as an environmental separator or air curtain. The product features minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom, recessed hardware, and a compact, rugged design for easy installation. EXAIR air knives comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). All sound level measurements are taken at 3 feet away.
