EXAIR® Super Air Knife kits include a Super Air Knife, shim set, filter separator, and pressure regulator with coupler. The Super Air Knife is engineered to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow with hard-hitting force across its entire length, dramatically reducing compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. It operates at noise levels as low as 69 dBA for most applications and offers variable force and flow without any moving parts, making it maintenance-free. It is constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced strength, and pitting resistance, suitable for food, pharmaceutical, and surgical manufacturing environments requiring minimal contamination. The Super Air Knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). The compact, rugged design includes easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom, along with recessed hardware. It is an efficient solution for cleaning, drying, and cooling parts, webs, or conveyors, and can also serve as an environmental separator or air curtain. Typical applications include part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal in converting operations. EXAIR Air Amplifiers comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
