EXAIR's® Super Air Knife is a highly efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length, providing hard-hitting force with the lowest operating cost. It significantly reduces compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1 and operates at a noise level of 69 dBA for most applications. Constructed from Type 303 stainless steel, the kit offers good strength, is best suited for mildly corrosive environments, and withstands temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). The Super Air Knife is ideal for applications such as part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal in converting operations. It features minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and bottom, a compact and rugged design, and recessed hardware for durability. EXAIR® air knives comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away. The product complies with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act regarding conflict minerals.
