EXAIR's® Super Air Knife is an efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force and the lowest operating cost. It dramatically reduces compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1 and operates at noise levels as low as 69 dBA for most applications. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced strength properties, and resists pitting, making it suitable for food, pharmaceutical, and surgical product manufacturing where contamination must be minimized. The air knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and features no moving parts for maintenance-free use. It provides variable force and flow, minimal air consumption, and easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom. The compact and rugged design includes recessed hardware for added durability and ease of installation. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
