EXAIR's Super Air Knife is an efficient compressed air knife designed to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force and the lowest operating cost. It is engineered to dramatically reduce compressed air usage while entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1, producing noise levels as low as 69 dBA for most applications. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, improved strength, and resistance to pitting, making it suitable for food, pharmaceutical, and surgical manufacturing environments requiring contamination minimization. The knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and features no moving parts for maintenance-free operation. It is compact, rugged, easy to install with recessed hardware, and has compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom for easy mounting. Typical applications include part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. The Super Air Knife complies with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meets noise limitation standards of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound measurements taken at 3 feet.
