EXAIR® Super Air Knife kits include a Super Air Knife, shim set, filter separator, and pressure regulator with coupler. The Super Air Knife is the most efficient compressed air knife on the market, delivering a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across the entire length with hard-hitting force while dramatically reducing compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. Noise levels are significantly reduced compared to other blowoffs, operating at approximately 69 dBA in most applications. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, the knife offers excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced strength properties, and resists pitting, making it suitable for manufacturers in food, pharmaceutical, and surgical industries that need to minimize contamination by metals. It can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). The unit is compact, rugged, maintenance-free with no moving parts, and easy to mount with compressed air inlets on each end and the bottom. It is effective for applications including part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening and filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. The recessed hardware enhances safety and installation. EXAIR® Air Amplifiers comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with sound level measurements taken at 3 feet. The product is supported under warranty terms provided by the manufacturer.
