EXAIR® Super Air Knife kits include a Super Air Knife, shim set, filter separator, and pressure regulator with coupler. The knife delivers a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with hard-hitting force, engineered to dramatically reduce compressed air usage while entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. It significantly reduces noise levels compared to other blowoffs, operating at 69 dBA for most applications. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, the knife offers excellent corrosion resistance, superior strength properties, and resists pitting, making it suitable for manufacturers of food, pharmaceutical, and surgical products requiring minimal contamination. It can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). Key features include minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts ensuring maintenance-free operation, easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and bottom, a compact and rugged design, and recessed hardware. Applications include part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. The EXAIR Air Amplifiers comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
