EXAIR® Super Air Knife kits include a Super Air Knife, shim set, filter separator, and pressure regulator with coupler. The Super Air Knife is made of Type 303 stainless steel, which offers good strength and is suited for mildly corrosive environments, withstanding temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). It delivers a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across the entire length with hard-hitting force, engineered to dramatically reduce compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. Noise levels are reduced to approximately 69 dBA for most applications, and the device features no moving parts for maintenance-free operation. It offers minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, recessed hardware, compact and rugged design, and easy mounting with compressed air inlets located on each end and bottom. Super Air Knives efficiently clean, dry, or cool parts, webs, or conveyors, and can be used as environmental separators or air curtains in applications including part drying after wash, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, part or component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal during converting operations. EXAIR® Air Amplifiers comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away. The kit comes with a warranty coverage as specified by EXAIR®.
