EXAIR® Super Air Knife kits include a Super Air Knife, shim set, filter separator, and pressure regulator with coupler. The kit delivers a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across the entire length with hard-hitting force while dramatically reducing compressed air usage by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 40:1. The noise level is 69 dBA for most applications, significantly quieter than other blowoffs. The Super Air Knife is engineered for efficient cleaning, drying, or cooling of parts, webs, or conveyors, and can also serve as an environmental separator or air curtain. Constructed of Type 316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, better strength properties, resistance to pitting, and is suitable for manufacturers needing to minimize metal contamination, such as those in the food, pharmaceutical, and surgical industries. The knife can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). It features minimal air consumption, variable force and flow, no moving parts for maintenance-free operation, easy mounting with compressed air inlets on each end and bottom, recessed hardware, and a compact, rugged design. EXAIR® Air Amplifiers comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound level measurements taken at 3 feet away.
