Exair's Super Air Knife™ is designed to efficiently clean, dry, or cool parts, webs, or conveyors by delivering a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with strong force. It operates at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 BAR) while maintaining a surprisingly low sound level of 69 dBA in most applications. The Super Air Knife features an amplification ratio of 40:1, entraining air to compressed air. It is available in three materials: aluminum, stainless steel, and PVDF. Applications include part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal in converting operations. Key advantages include minimal air consumption, uniform airflow across its length, variable force and flow, and maintenance-free operation due to no moving parts.
