Exair's Super Air Knife™ is designed to provide an efficient solution for cleaning, drying, or cooling parts, webs, or conveyors, delivering a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length with significant force. Operating at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 bar), it maintains a sound level of 69 dBA for most applications while achieving amplification ratios of 40:1 (entrained air to compressed air). The Super Air Knife is offered in aluminum, stainless steel, and PVDF materials, making it suitable for various applications including part drying after washing, sheet cleaning in strip mills, conveyor cleaning, component cooling, web drying or cleaning, environmental separation, pre-paint blowoff, bag opening/filling operations, and scrap removal on converting operations. Key features include minimal air consumption, uniform airflow, variable force and flow, and a maintenance-free design with no moving parts. It complies with OSHA dead-ended pressure and noise requirements and is compact, rugged, and easy to install, featuring recessed hardware and special lengths available upon request.
