The reducer is designed to connect a male buttress valve to a 2" hose barb, facilitating easy assembly with a swivel ring to prevent hose twisting. Constructed from FDA food grade materials, it features strong CPP (glass coupled polypropylene) and complies with an ISO 9000 quality management system. Each adapter is individually bagged and labeled for cleanliness and identification convenience. The CPP material is rated for a pressure of 150 PSI and is compatible with most chemicals typically stored in IBC totes. The thread specifications include S60 x 6 buttress thread, with an outside diameter of 60.0mm (2.36") and a thread pitch of 6.00mm (0.24") as per DIN standard 6131, making it compatible with common European IBCs such as those from Schuetz, Mauser, SotraLenZ, Werit, and Fustiplast.
